These are the endpoints that define the boundaries of a parcel fabric polygon feature which are also the endpoints of the shared line between adjacent polygons.

The following table contains the Parcel Points attributes and descriptions.

Attribute NameDescription
GlobalID

Unique global identifier for the feature.

Values: System-generated

Name

Name of the control point corresponding to the parcel point, if there is one.

Values: For geodetic control or vertical benchmarks, this is the GCM number from GeoNetBc. For control points received through surveyor submissions, it is a combination of Plan Number and a Description of the marker.

Notes: Other types of control point (i.e. GeoBC or field cadastral ties) are generally identified with a standard prefix (ā€˜P’, ā€˜F’, etc.)

PointID

A unique identifier used to track the parcel point within PMBC.

Values: System-generated

Error

Semi-major axis of error ellipse for the point at a 95% confidence level.

Values: System-generated only when LSA run

Notes: See notes on the Positional Error field in the Parcel Polygon layer for details

ErrorAngle

Azimuth of semi-major axis for the point

Values: System-generated only when LSA run

Notes: See notes on the Positional Error field in the Parcel Polygon layer for details

ErrorMinor

Semi-minor axis of error ellipse for the point at a 95% confidence level.

Values: System-generated only when LSA run

Notes: See notes on the Positional Error field in the Parcel Polygon layer for details

CreatedDate

Date when parcel point is created.

Values: System-generated

Notes: DD/MM/YYYY

ModifiedDate

Date when parcel point is modified.

Values: System-generated

Notes: DD/MM/YYYY

ErrorReportedBy

Refers to the semi-major and semi-minor error values.

Values: See Error Reported By domain for more details.

Notes: See notes on the Error Reported By field in the Parcel Polygon layer for details

Shape

Contains geometry of the feature in the requested Spatial Reference.

Values: Point geometry

Notes: This is the geometry for the projected parcel point feature in the integrated parcel fabric and not the underlying component, ground based survey dimensions.

Introducing an improved ParcelMap BC

An upgraded version of ParcelMap BC has been released featuring a new layout, easier navigation, direct integration with related search services including plan and title applications and access to enhanced map capabilities and features. To learn more about the upgraded version of ParcelMap BC, please see ParcelMap BC New.

The classic version of ParcelMap BC will be available in parallel, until it is retired later this fall. Look for ParcelMap BC classic and ParcelMap BC new in your LTSA account menu options.
