Q:What is a Member Credential?

A: A member credential is a digital credential for professionals that is issued by a regulatory body. It verifies your identity and professional status.

LTSA accepts member credentials as a method to e-sign in LTSA Web Filing. 

 

Q:How do I obtain a member credential?

Currently Lawyer Credential is the only accepted member credential. If you're a practising BC lawyer, Lawyer Credential from the Law Society of British Columbia serves this purpose

Q: How do I use my member credential it to e-sign forms in Web Filing ?

A: LTSA accepts member credentials  as an alternative to Juricert to e-sign in LTSA Web Filing. Here is how to e-sign  in Web Filing with your member credential.

 

Q: Why is LTSA moving away from Juricert?

A: Juricert is a single-purpose digital certificate and additional requirement for professionals who e-sign in Web Filing with LTSA. Member Credentials offer  an upgraded process, adopting new technology that provides strengthened security and allows professionals to E-sign more efficiently.

 

Q: Can I use Member Credential with 3rd party software to e-sign my LTSA forms

A: Member Credential cannot be used with 3rd party software to e-sign LTSA forms. E-signing LTSA Web Filing forms with Member Credential can only be completed in Web Filing in your Enterprise account.

 

Q: What happens if I get a new license or a new device?

A: If you have a new device, you may need to download the BC Wallet app and your member credential again. You will also need to connect create a new connection in Web Filing. Follow these steps to create a new connection in Web Filing
