You must first create a BC Property Connect account and connect your property before you can request a Property Owner credential.
Confirm your property connection status
Sign in to your BC Property Connect account and confirm that your property connection status is connected.
Connected status on property card If your status shows action required or disconnected , you may need to update your information in your BC Services Card account or land title records before you can proceed.
Users with an action required status are not eligible to request a Property Owner credential.
Install BC Wallet and add a Person credential
Below the property card, select the Credential tab and select Install the BC Wallet app link to begin.
Credential tab and installation link On the BC Wallet page, go to the How BC Wallet works section and select Download the app.
Select Download the app to go to the download page - Download the BC Wallet app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Open the app on your mobile device and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. This includes accepting the Terms of Use, creating a PIN, and optionally enabling biometrics and notifications.
Turning on notifications is recommended to receive credential offers and proof requests.
- Go to Get your Person credential page and review the requirements in the What you need section.
In BC Wallet, open the Notifications tab and select Start to begin adding your Person credential.
Go to the Notifications tab and select Start - Follow the prompts, login to BC Services Card account, agree to the Terms of Use, and select Create Person Credential.
- Select Accept to add the credential offer issued by Service BC, and select Done when the message Credential added to your wallet appears.
Once completed, go to the Credentials tab to view your Person credential.

Get your Property Owner credential
Return to the Your Property page in BC Property Connect. Select the Credential tab and tap the Get Property Owner credential button.
Tap the Get Property Owner credential button Review and accept the terms. A QR code will be displayed on your screen.
A QR code will be displayed on screen Open the BC Wallet app on your mobile device and tap Scan to scan the QR code.
Tap the Scan icon to scan the QR code If the scan is successful, select View request button to view the request.
Select the View request button Review the proof request and select Share.
Select the Share button It should take a few seconds to process. When the message Information sent successfully appears, select Go back to home.
Tap the Go back to home button Select View to see the new credential offer.

Accept the Property Owner credential issued by LTSA When the message Credential added to your wallet appears, select Done.
Click Done to go back to BC Wallet home screen Go to Credentials tab in BC Wallet to view your Property Owner credential.
Go to Credentials tab to view your Property Owner credential On a manual page refresh or during future sign-ins, the property owner credential badge will appear below your connection status badge.
