Why do I need to assign Financial Administrators to a deposit account?

When you add a new deposit account, no one is assigned by default to administer it.

You need to assign at least as many Financial Administrators as the number of approvals required for the account. SeeĀ Manage Approvals.

If you do not assign yourself as a Financial Administrator while adding the account then you will not be able to update it later and you will be reliant on the assigned Financial Administrators to do that for you.
