What is confirmed when I validate my package?

Package validation tells you whether your unsubmitted package meets the basic validation rules detected by EFS. This is optional but can be very helpful. By validating the package prior to submission, you can fix any basic errors (e.g., missing electronic signatures) detected by EFS. Remember that when errors are reported during the validation process, one or more documents can be removed from the package and replaced with newer versions without deleting the entire package.
