Modify a PTT Account

The procedure for modifying a Property Transfer Tax Electronic Payment Authorization (EPA) profile is almost the same as the procedure for creating one.

You simply submit a new version of the EPA form, checking off the appropriate boxes to show that you are modifying existing information.

Modifying Business/Applicant Information


Select the Modify Business/Applicant Information checkbox at the top of Section A


Enter new business/applicant information into Section A. You can change any information in the Section A except the myLTSA Enterprise customer account number.

Be sure to fill in all fields in Section A. If you leave any fields blank, EFS will delete the existing information for those fields in your PTT Electronic Payment Authorization profile.


At the bottom of Section C, click one of the signature boxes to apply an electronic signature. See: Apply an Electronic Signature. If your cheques required two signatures, you must apply two equivalent electronic signatures to the electronic form.

Modifying or Deleting Property Transfer Tax Account Information


In Section A, fill in your myLTSA Enterprise Customer Account number only


In Section B, select the Modify This Account or Delete This Account checkbox above the account you are modifying or deleting

Modify Account Information

At the bottom of Section C, click one of the signature boxes to apply an electronic signature. See Apply an Electronic Signature. If your cheques require two signatures, you must apply two equivalent electronic signatures to the electronic form.

Note the following restrictions:

  • If the Account has never been used, the information can be modified
  • If the Account has been used (even if only once), a new Account must be created and the old one disabled by the client
  • You cannot change the account name (the nickname) for an existing bank account
  • You cannot delete an existing bank account once a PTT payment has been drawn on it
  • You cannot modify any information for a bank account once a PTT payment has been drawn from it

If you don't want EFS to have access to an account any more, change the account's status to Inactive. See: Change a PTT Bank Account Status.
