The Power of Attorney search lets you search the power of attorney index by document number or by principal name.
If your search is successful, you can select one or more documents to purchase.
You should consult the actual power of attorney document filed with the land title office to verify any power of attorney index information.
Searching Power of Attorney by Principal Name
From any page of the LTSA's Electronic Services, rollover Searches and click Index Search
Enter up to 15 alphanumeric characters in the File Reference field to uniquely identify your transaction. See: Using a File Reference. Depending on your organization's account management setting for file reference, this may be a required field.
Select Power of Attorney by Principal Name or Power of Attorney by Document Number
- When searching by principal name, enter as much of the client's name as you feel is appropriate into the Principal Name field. Click Search. An alphabetical list will appear starting with the first name that matches your search criteria. Select a name and click Purchase.
- When searching by document number, enter the document number in the Document Number field. Click Purchase.
A listing all of the documents that are associated with the principal name or document number you specified is displayed. An index search fee is charged to your account and the index results are automatically delivered to the myLTSA Inbox and email depending on how your forwarding options are set. Click Print Page if you wish to print the list.
Ordering Documents
Select one or more documents by clicking the checkboxes at the left of the table
Your selection automatically updates the Order Summary box with the number and cost of the selected items. The Purchase button will display the number of items you have selected. You can also modify the file reference from this page by changing the text in the field at the top of the page.
If you are satisfied with your selection, click Purchase to immediately complete your order
