Dataset Exemption Workflow
Exemptions should only be requested if the information is not required (i.e., Strata Building amendment plans don't affect the mapped parcel fabric).
Initiate the process by clicking the box to request for dataset exemption.
Enter the explanation for the request.
On the Georeferencing Properties, the UTM Zone and coordinates pre-populate based on the center of the site. The scale factor is available but optional.
Confirm dataset exemption request.
Once confirmed, datasets cannot be uploaded for the particular variation. A new variation will be required to allow dataset upload.
Once the plan is signed, SurveyHub provides an exemption form with a signed plan attached, ready for download and submission to the Surveyor General.
