Using Unsubdivided Plan Search

Last modified on May 04, 2016

Example Plan Search by Short Legal - Unsubdivided Option

In the following example, it is desired to search for plans associated with the unsubdivided parcel described as: That Part of the Northwest ΒΌ Section 35, Township 8, Range 5, Coast District on Plan 5204-I, Except Plans 4003 and PRP45053.

Select Unsubdivided together with the land title district and the land district from the drop-down menus. Then enter whatever other information you have about the property in the appropriate fields. In this example, it is sufficient to enter only the Range, Township, Section, and Quadrant fields. The search treats blank fields as wild cards and will return a list of plans associated with any unsubdivided parcels that fit the search criteria.

Plan search functionality is intended to assist customers in being able to find plans and to verify them prior to purchase. Search results are not guaranteed to identify all relevant plans. Owing to the nature of the historic data held by the LTSA, a small percentage of plans are not linked within the database to associated parcels. Additionally, a significant percentage of subdivided parcels are not linked within the database to associated unsubdivided parcels. The LTSA is researching the historic data in an effort to improve these linkages.
