Processes described below focus on procedures involved in the management of web filing forms and packages

Completed web filing forms initiated on Web Filing is continued and submitted on the Electronic Filing System (EFS)

Manage Web Filing Packages

Locate a Package


On any of the LTSA's Electronic Services pages, rollover Web Filing and click View All Packages

Search Processes

Basic Search

The View All Packages page appears with the default view set to My Own with 20 item entries sorted by Modified Date

  • Search for a package: enter a full or partial file reference, description, or creator or leave blank
  • Filter by Submitter: choose My Own (default) or My Organization
  • Filter by Package type: choose LT (Land Titles) or SG (Surveyor General)
  • Click Show Packages

Click More Filters + to access this search

  • Search for a package: enter a full or partial file reference, description, or creator or leave blank
  • Filter by Submitter: choose My Own (default) or My Organization
  • Filter by Package Type: choose LT (Land Titles) or SG (Surveyor General)
  • Filter by Date Modified: choose one option, All Activity (default)
  • Click Show Packages

The View All Packages page display with search results. Items per page view selector (bottom left) numbering from 20 (default) to 100 items and page navigation selector (bottom right) can be adjusted as needed. Click the File Reference to open the particular package

Click Reset Filters to restore the page to default views and start a new search

Add a New Form to the Package

Locate and navigate to your web filing package


On the Package page click + Add Application

On the Add Application page click Add to select the form to include in your web filing package

In an existing package, on the Package page click + Add Application

On the Add Application page click Add From Template to select the form to include in your web filing package

A browser upload window will appear, select the template file then click Open

The Edit Application page displays with a success message confirming the addition of a new form to the web filing package

Application Review

Application Review is a process wherein the Requester passes editing / signing permissions to another party from different Deposit Accounts (i.e. not from the same organization, not from the same team or unit within the same organization), and are active myLTSA users

Application Review requests are specific to a form. Access to other forms in the same package are not provided

Locate and navigate to your web filing package


On the Package page click Actions then click Request review on the drop down

On the Request Review page a preformatted email message appears. Populate the reviewers' email address, select review permissions and enter any additional email message (optional). Click Send Request

E-signing a form completes the review and the form. Any editing after E-signing will invalidate the electronic signature

Review permissions granted are specific to a Reviewer for a particular form

Only one Reviewer at a time can access the form

The system will send an email to the web filing form Reviewer


Once the Reviewer obtains access to the form its status will update to In Review Drafted from Drafted

The Requester cannot edit the form once a Reviewer gains access to it

An email notice will be received on the myLTSA Inbox upon completion of the review

The Reviewer that completed the review ends their access to the form and passess the editing access back to the Requester

The email notice contains a link to the reviewed form. Alternatively, you may locate and navigate to your form

Open the email message from the Review Requester then click the included link

  • Sending email address is the myLTSA system
  • Recipient email address can be anything (not necessarily on myLTSA)
  • The original form name (i.e. Form A) is quoted otherwise the renamed label will appear
  • The original package name or file reference is quoted
  • System generated link to the form for review is included in the preformatted email

The link will take you to the myLTSA login page. Enter your login credentials (username, password) on the fields and logon


Upon login you will proceed to the Edit Application page defaulting to the Applicant editing section

The web filing form status will turn to In Review Drafted upon access of the form

Completing the Application Review

Only Legal Professionals have access to the E-signing interface

  • A success message appears confirming E-signing of the form. Click send the changes back to the document owner link to complete the application review

  • The Submit Review pop-up notice appears. Click Submit Review to end the review process

  • On the Web Filing Form page click Complete Review

Create Land Title Form Template

Templates can be used on a variety of web filing forms and will only populate similar data fields [i.e. Form A (Transfer) Applicant information = Form B (Mortgage) Applicant information]

The Land Title Form A (Transfer) is used for this illustration. The next steps will be specific to data fields within this web filing form

Locate and navigate to your web filing package


On the Package page click + Add Application

If creating a new package, on the Package page click Start an Application

On the Add Application page click Add to select the web filing form as basis of the template

Complete the sections that will form part of the template. In this case it is the Applicant and the Execution sections

Once all sections required are completed, verify the template by reviewing it on the Web Filing Form section

Click Manage Form Data then select Save Template on the dropdown

The save action of your browser will display saving a *.WFF file named after the form name

The *.WFF file name is influenced by few naming conventions and may be different in some cases

  • The file name can be taken from the original form label name
  • The file name can be taken from the renamed form label name

If the browser automatically saves the *.WFF file, the browser save file download functionality must be adjusted

In Google Chrome click Settings > click Advance > select Downloads > Turn on Ask where to save each file before downloading

In Mozilla Firefox click Options > select General > scroll to Files and Applications > Downloads > select Always ask you where to save files

In Microsoft Edge click Settings > select General > scroll to Downloads > Turn on Ask me what to do with each download

The template file can now be used to create a new web filing form. Refer here to add a new form from a template

Save all your template files in the same folder for ease of access

Create Surveyor General Form Template

Templates can be used on a variety of web filing forms and will only populate similar data fields [i.e. Submitter information]

The Surveyor General Application and Plan Submission is used for this illustration. The next steps will be specific to data fields within this web filing form

Locate and navigate to your web filing package


On the Package page click Start an Application

The template can now be used to create a new web filing form

Edit a Form Within a Package

Locate and navigate to your web filing package, click the File Reference


On the Package page click on the Form Name

The Edit Application page appears with the default view set to the Applicant (Land Title) or Submitter (Surveyor General) editing section. Click on any link on the side panel navigation / status guide to edit that section of the web filing form

Editing web filing forms previously E-signed will invalidate the electronic signature and require re-signing

Click Save Progress to retain your completion status if you decide to leave at any stage of editing the web filing form. Clicking Continue will automatically save all data and move you on to the next section

Click Save to the pop-up notice to retain your completion status if you decide to leave at any stage of editing the web filing form. Click Cancel if you want to remain in the same page

On the particular section of the web filing form edit the necessary fields then click Done to complete the entries. Navigate to the other sections if further editing is required, otherwise click Continue

On completion of editing, visual confirmation can be made at the Web Filing Form section to verify changes

For Land Title packages, if editing another web filing form within the same package, click the Go to Application drop down menu to select another form

Download Forms

Scenario 1

After editing the form, at the Web Filing Form section click Download Form to obtain a copy (PDF format) for printing and signing. The download the Web Filing Form instead link performs the same way

The option to Open or Save appears on your browser. Click Save to obtain a copy of the web filing form. Once stored, the web filing form can be opened using a PDF reader

The downloaded PDF file will have a system generated file name that can be changed after download

If the browser automatically saves the PDF file, the browser save file download functionality must be adjusted

In Google Chrome click Settings > click Advanced > select Downloads > Turn on Ask where to save each file before downloading

In Mozilla Firefox click Options > select General > scroll to Files and Applications > Downloads > select Always ask you where to save files

In Microsoft Edge click Settings > select General > scroll to Downloads > Turn on Ask me what to do with each download

Scenario 2

Locate and navigate to your Web Filing Package


On the Package page click the Manage Package drop down menu to download web filing forms in the package

On the Download Package page all web filing forms are preselected (default). Optionally, select particular web filing forms to obtain a copy then click Download

A confirmation message appears and a copy of the web filing form(s) is(are) sent to the myLTSA Inbox and email if forwarding options are set

Delete Package

Similar to the Electronic Filing System (EFS), Web Filing Packages can be recreated using the same File Reference

Locate and navigate to your Web Filing Package


On the Package page click the Manage Package drop down menu and select Delete Package to initiate the process

Click Delete to the pop-up notice to confirm acceptance to remove the package
